Hate shopping for furniture? Hate going to big blue buildings labelled “IKEA” because they remind you of the hours upon hours of mindlessly viewing bed frames? Well Sydney, Australia is the place for you!
Recently, an IKEA in Sydney recognized the predominately male hate for furniture shopping, and responded by creating MÄNLAND, a playground for men. Although it was tested only during the Father’s day long weekend, it was intended for women to drop off their restless and tired men. Inside the MÄNLAND, free hot dogs, XBox 360 and televised sporting events were only some of the pleasantries within.

They should open it to any adult. I’m not sure if they have a place for kids…but shopping for furniture is definitely a pain, and this, despite its exclusiveness, is very awesome!
