Console Wars : (Part 1 – Introduction)

One of the best ways of entertainment for teens and young adults these days is gaming consoles like Sony Playstation 3, Microsoft  Xbox 360 and Nintendo Wii. All the consoles have their pros and cons and starting from this week, I will be putting the consoles head on head to see which one is the best. Since the Wii doesn’t place in half of the rounds, I won’t include it. Nintendo Wii is a great console and started the new idea of motion controls, which is just amazing, but it lacks graphics and interest of most of the percentage of gamers. It doesn’t have a proper online gaming system. The motion contols need to be upgraded with recent release of Xbox Kinect and PS Move.  Most of the gamers of Nintendo Wii are 10-year-olds who aren’t Nintendo’s target audience, but despite these problems, it is only $120 which is almost half the price of Xbox 360 and Playstation 3. PC gaming also wouldn’t be included because this series is about gaming consoles not PCs that are capable of playing heavy games. So the two consoles are gonna be compared in many ways for example their controllers, hardware specs, exclusive games and multiplayer online gaming. Be sure to check next week for Part 2 and please leave a comment with ideas about different things that the consoles can  be tested on.
