It's unbelievably amazing how writing autobiographical information can lead to a life-threatening (not to mention eye-twitching) case of writer's block! This leaves me no choice but to do so in the most uncreative way one could proceed: in lists. Although, enumerating facts is arguably the most logical route, as Sherlock Holmes may express. It, however, does not wholly illustrate my passion for visual arts, travel, and - as speculated - my tendency to live in novels of brilliance. My quiet nature could rival that of Holmes when he withdraws into his depths, but my wonderment toward metropolitan cities such as London and Paris parallels Nick Carraway's as he plunges into the world of The Great Gatsby. But enough ranting about oneself! Please enjoy our articles and do not hesitate to leave your thoughts underneath - we love to hear from you!

Draw Something – gaming in the form of art

Recently, I’ve downloaded a game called Draw Something, and at first, I’d never thought it’d be such a big hit among the smartphone/smart-devices community. Personally, I’m not a gamer, but I thought Draw Something is a pretty neat concept where you choose a word from a list of three words (where each had its own scaling of difficulty) draw…

Fascinating facts from National Geographic

Half a year ago, I’ve made a post on the mind-blowing facts from the National Geographic. Now, looking back, I could only draw one conclusion: organisms on this earth have gotten a lot weirder. It’s almost like looking at your former self in the yearbook, thinking why you acted the way you did. The most…

On the other hand, they sell all kinds of other pastries, crepes and sweets for those who have the chance to visit Vegas (maybe…

10 captivating reads for book enthusiasts

I don’t know about you guys, but personally, I’m really weary of clichéd must-read-before-you-die promotional book lists. Usually, the novels suggested on those types of lists would end up following one of those lame, unoriginal plots (and they lived happily ever after), or it would end up being one of those implausible romance stories where the…

Facebook: Did you know?

It’s unbelievable how technologically advanced – and dependent – we’ve become compared to a mere decade or so ago. The following is a video on the statistical side of things, but only limited to the Facebook world. Imagine how big the numbers would become if we included the whole World Wide Web, or even just…

Video of the Day: End of 2011

Here comes the end of another year, bringing about new beginnings of 2012 – including celebrations (fireworks!), the write-up of New Year’s resolutions, and exciting events to look forward to. Let us commemorate those we lost in 2011 and how far we’ve come as a group:
