World’s largest chocolate fountain

Jean Philippe, a pastry shop at the Bellagio in Las Vegas, holds the World’s Guinness Record for the World’s Largest Chocolate Fountain to cure your sweet tooth – unfortunately, only visually.

On the other hand, they sell all kinds of other pastries, crepes and sweets for those who have the chance to visit Vegas (maybe over the upcoming spring break, anyone?) I’ve had the chance to try some of their menu items over last winter break and yes, they do taste as good as they look. Their berry crepe is light-battered and fluffy; the jam not too sweet. Their croissant is delicately encrusted with crystallized sugar, giving a crisp edge to a aroma-filled interior. Oh yes – their sorbet! A really nice way to wrap up your meal with its natural fruity flavour lightly embedded in its smooth, mouth-cleansing texture. Though I’m not a total expert on pastries/sweets, I would say the quality that the pastry shop presented meets its mid-ranged prices quite well. It’s also definitely a good place for a light breakfast, especially during vacation!
