Come down to the Youth Volunteer Fair on April 27, 2012! The event runs from 2:30 p.m. to 6 p.m. in the City of Calgary Municipal Building Atrium.
There will be 15 organizations including Heritage Park, YWCA, Salvation Army, and the Calgary Public Library with volunteer opportunities for youth ages 12 – 18. There will also be food trucks there – come out and join us!
Not only can you gain many valuable experiences through volunteering, it is also a great way to give back to the community, so don’t miss out on this awesome event!
It's unbelievably amazing how writing autobiographical information can lead to a life-threatening (not to mention eye-twitching) case of writer's block! This leaves me no choice but to do so in the most uncreative way one could proceed: in lists. Although, enumerating facts is arguably the most logical route, as Sherlock Holmes may express. It, however, does not wholly illustrate my passion for visual arts, travel, and - as speculated - my tendency to live in novels of brilliance. My quiet nature could rival that of Holmes when he withdraws into his depths, but my wonderment toward metropolitan cities such as London and Paris parallels Nick Carraway's as he plunges into the world of The Great Gatsby.
