The Southland Leisure Centre is a recreational center in SW Calgary that offers a wide variety of activities, programs and equipment. It provides a swimming area with slides and wave pools, two skating rinks (for both the public and shinny hockey), fitness rooms, weight rooms, gyms, racquet and squash courts climbing wall, children/babysitting rooms, and rooms to host birthday parties. This center also provides an AfterSchool Program for junior high students, day camps, and space for large group gatherings.
One of its many events is Youth Night every Friday for teens. From 8 to 11 pm, teens ages 12 – 17 are invited to join in with the Youth Night fun. For that Friday, the sports hall is youth only; so bring your friends and go enjoy the wonderful opportunity! The pool will also be open for any youth that night.
