Ingredients:
- Flour – 3 cups [375 g]
- Sugar – 3/4 cup [150 g]
- Molasses – 1/2 cup [165 g]
- Melted butter – 3/4 cup [170 g]
- Water – 1/2 cup [120 ml]
- Baking Soda – 1 teaspoon
- Ginger – 1 teaspoon
- Salt – 1 teaspoon
- Cinnamon – 2 teaspoons
- Egg – 1
Directions:
- Mix all of the ingredients together in a large bowl.
- Generously dust the dough with flour
- Separate the dough into 2-3 sections and cover the dough with plastic wrap or wax paper
- Make sure to chill the dough for at least 4 hours [Optional: overnight]
- Dust a smooth surface with flour and roll out a section of the dough
- Use a cookie cutter or a knife to cut out any desired shapes
- Place the shapes on some parchment paper on top of a baking sheet
- Bake at 350 degrees Fahrenheit or on a 180 degree Celsius temperature for 10-15 minutes
