Goodbye, farvel, au revoir, 再见! The past couple of weeks have been one farewell after another, and after delaying this one for as a long as I can, it’s time for me to say bye-bye to this wonderful community that so readily accepted a junior high girl back in 2014 when she decided to explore her interest…
It’s a trend that has become more and more popular recently, and has provided its users with a way to easily lay out their lives on paper. Bullet journaling is often regarded by many as an intersect between mindfulness and productivity, which is why it’s such as useful tool in our past-paced, digitized lives. Due…
In the blink of an eye, the school year has wrapped up, and the biggest national celebration of the year is coming up. It’s been about a year and a half since I made the change to become a vegetarian and it has been one of the best decisions I could have made for myself. While I still have people asking me how I can live without meat, it was a simple decision for me. I just never…
It seems like as soon as you enter into Grade 11, questions such as “what are you thinking about for university?” and “what do you want to do in the future?” start popping up. As a Grade 12 student, these questions slowly morph from “where are you applying?” in September/October, to “HAVE YOU HEARD BACK…
Summer. A time to relax and be carefree from all of the stress of school and deadlines. A time to bask in sunlight and hang out with friends. A time for yourself. While the summertime has time for all of that, it is also the best time to engage in something worthwhile. As I’ve…
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=62_EBaZjgds Calgary is a great place to live. We’ve got a beautiful metropolitan downtown core, with many different cool hubs outside of it. It’s got the liveliness of a big city but still be charm and friendliness of a small town. We have many amenities to take advantage of, and lots of places to go…

Ever have those moments right before you go into something nerve-wracking, an interview or perhaps the first day of work? I’m sure I’m not the only one who has felt uncomfortable prior to going into something like that, and in times like those, you just wish you could have a cure-all fix that will make…

The word yoga in Sanskrit roughly translates to “union,” and the activity is based…
It seems like only a little while ago when I opened up my computer on a late December day in 2014 and typed in the title “Youth Friendly New Year’s Eve 2015”. It feels surreal typing in ‘2017’ today. These past couple of years have breezed by at a lightning pace, and I’ll admit, writing…
