A Journey to South Korea: Day 8

This is the last post of my South Korea tour, and this time it is all about South Korean pop culture. Since I love Korean music, I spent the last day walking in Seoul to see Super Junior, who I am a big fan of.

In the morning, the first place I went is Everysing, which is a store opened by SM Entertainment company to sell SM performer goods, and on top of the store is a KTV where you can sing. The Everysing I went to was near the SM company. They just opened a new one in Myeongdong, which is the shopping street for Korean teens.

This is the picture of the Everysing I went to.
This is the new store they opened in Myeongdong. Everysing is upstairs and downstairs is a clothing store named SPAO which is endorsed by Super Junior and Girls Generation.

After buying Super Junior goods I went to their apartment, hoping to get lucky and meet them. However, I didn’t see them, so I waited all night to see them at their radio station.

These are pictures I took while I was waiting outside of their apartment.

At lunch time I couldn’t miss Super Junior’s other endorsement Kyochon Chicken but since I couldn’t find the restaurant so I went back to my hotel and told the reception to do a takeout order from Kyochon Chicken. The restaurant tasted ordinary, since is just different kinds of chicken wings, but I was happy to get a bag with Super Junior’s picture on it.

At 9 p.m., I went to the subway station and headed toward KBS which is one of the biggest TV stations in South Korea.

It took me almost an hour to find the location and I was lost inside the station. There were four buildings and I didn’t know which one was the radio station. I asked three people to find the radio station and by the time I got there the show have already started. I stand outside watching LeeTeuk and EunHyuk hosting their radio show called “Kiss The Radio,” and I was so excited.

This is LeeTeuk who was drinking during the break.
The one on the very left is EunHyuk.

That was my last day of my South Korea tour and it was such a great way to end it. The next morning I went to the airport and came back to Canada.
