YouTube Battle: Popular Songs Played by Unique “Instruments”

If I asked you, would you know most of the famous YouTube channels? If you could list out at least ten of them, then I’m sure you’ve seen or heard of KurtHugoSchneider or JakeBruene. If not, then here’s a treat for you! Here’s the collection of their ongoing challenge, just in case you can’t find them all. A challenge erupted between Kurt and Jake when Kurt played Baby by Justin Bieber on the recorder to prove that he could “play an actual song on a recorder.”

This is the first of many challenges between the men:

This is Jake’s response with Telephone by Lady Gaga:

And Kurt’s counter with Moonlight Sonata by Beethoven:

And Jake’s witty comeback with Beat It by Michael Jackson:

Then a month later with Kurt’s rendition of Zelda’s Lullaby by Koji Kondo:

Followed by Jack’s strange cover of Only Girl (In the World) by Rihanna:

Countered with Kurt’s unique version of Pachelbel’s Canon by Bach:

With the most recent comeback is Kurt’s odd arrangement of Bad Romance by Lady Gaga (wow, she was covered twice by these talented fellows!):

There you have it. Here’s hoping to see more wonderful things from these guys in 2011. I hope you were as amused and amazed as I was.
