The sun is pinned up high in the sky
Sharing its illuminating light rays with my eyes
The feeling of warmth grows from my head to my toes
As the anticipation sprouts from deep down below and grows
Sprinting through the grainy sand
Feeling it stuck between your toes
And diving for a volleyball
while sand goes up your nose
The water splishes and splashes all around
Drenching me in my gown
Succumbed beneath the icy waves
As my arms and legs flail around
The smile is once again plastered on my face
While succumbing to temptations and losing all my grace,
I race to take the first fresh sandwich, as I dare
As the aroma of food fully fills the air
The sight crunch of the baguette and the sizzle of the meat delights my ears
While parents once again greet their kids and the ones they call dear
Droplets dripping from my drenched hair and clothes
Meanwhile, I frantically searched for a tissue so that I could blow my nose
The sun has finally dimmed revealing a magnificent sky
Hues of crimson, orange, and rose, hypnotize my eyes
The wind has once again regained its life
As the crisp breeze allows my hair to take flight
