I have been closely following news on superheroes and superhero movies for quite a while, so here goes:
Jared Leto to Joker- the Transformation
Recently, Jared Leto cut his hair short and dyed it platinum blonde. Finally we get to see Joker resurface after almost a 7 year hiatus. Personally, I’m very pumped for all the movies lined up to build the DC Universe- Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, Suicide Squad, Aquaman, Wonder Woman, Flash, etc. The excitement is building up, people!
Aquaman- What a Beast!
Some time back, a picture of Aquaman was tweeted out by director Zack Snyder. I wont lie, I was a little disappointed by the lack of Aquaman’s glorious golden mane. But nevertheless, he looks like he could kick some bad guy butt. Jason Momoa, hats off. You are a stunner.
“Unite the Seven”
The overlay could suggest two things- unite the seven seas, or unite the even members of JLA- Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, Flash, Cyborg, and the last but not the lest, Aquaman. I’m so excited to see the DC Universe materializing!
Avengers: Age of Ultron
A new trailer was out some time back, and if you haven’t checked it out already, I highly recommend that you do. It has been confirmed that Ultron is indeed a creation of Tony Stark who goes haywire and is bent into destroying the world. Will out heroes overcome the evil that escalates by the minute?
Supergirl’s TV Debut
Melissa Benoist stars as the titular character in CBS’s ‘Supergirl’. I am so excited about this show! Finally we see a female superhero come to the screen after Lynda Carter’s ‘Wonder Woman'(1975-79). Melissa’s look is reminiscent of the Supergirl comics, and it’s so nostalgic to see it being brought to live action.
