THE Stampede 2013 Food Binge: Double Smoked Bacon Wrapped Cheese Perogie Skewer

Name of Food – Double smoked bacon wrapped cheese perogie skewer (it is indeed a long blurb!)

Where to Buy – The Grill Cafe inside the Agriculture Building, which is right beside the Saddledome and these statues:

What makes it worthwhile – Can I say that it was the bacon? Even though this was my second helping after the relatively disappointing chocolate-covered bacon, this snack did much better at having it just at the right place with the right flavor. What helps also is that it provides something different than the sugar overdose found in many of the other choices – the perogies had an awesome cheese filling for sure along with some sour cream. That coupled along with the fact that Carrie and I were both still hungry after having reviewed three items before this one helped to make it my favourite. Despite the location being tucked away from the other hotspots on the grounds and this not being the most extreme of ’em all (for you people who are seeking absurdity), it’s for sure worth it.

I could say I'm just another YAA contributor, but you don't want to underestimate the leadership power of all my fellow youth. From blogging, I've learned that writing is great, but it's versatility can only come when it provokes discussion and inquiry, and that's what we can collectively do best. I want to rather get to know your insights, so always feel free to shoot me comments here and there.
