Songsterr: Learn guitar, bass, and drums by yourself

Have you ever wanted to learn how to play guitar, bass, or drums, but just couldn’t find the time or money? Well, Songsterr is here to help. Offering more than just tablature, it has an extensive archive of many song genres and accompanying audio for every song that is uploaded. Though the quality of the audio is that of computer midis, it is a key step not offered elsewhere that will get you to where you want in terms of playing your favourite song. Songsterr is a site that is built collaboratively by anyone, essentially a Wikipedia of music tabs. How cool is that? It is free to users but offers a premium version for just under $10 a month that comes loaded with added features. You can loop that one hard part, or slow the tempo down to your liking, and even print near perfect tabs and rhythms. On top of it all, they even have an app for iPods, iPhones and iPads.  For twenty bucks, you can get access to most Songsterr features for life!  A bit expensive for an app, yes, but proceeds go to the artists, so you really can’t regret paying!  Everything is laid out, and it’s basically setting you up for success.

I’m sharing Songsterr with you today to exemplify the fact that you no longer have any excuse left, so get out there and start playing some music.

Hey there, I’m Bill Tran. My middle name is not Louis unfortunately but I do like BLTs. I’m a student at Western Canada High School. I’m not your average Asian, I’m actually a little bit taller. I enjoy laughing and making others laugh, I mean, who would complain about a free ab workout? I like seeing things in brighter perspectives, except for movies, those are always better in the dark. I’m made of what’s found in my family & friends, my music & art, my thoughts & my words.
