This video certainly pulled at my heartstrings. It’s about a boy growing up and learning to move on after the loss of his father in a war, with the help of the landscape around him. There are many endearing qualities of this video: the soothing voice of Trevor Powers, the background piano and synth-like music, and the fact that we all have to (if we haven’t yet) cope with loss of a loved one someday and while learning to live normally again might seem difficult with all the visceral and conflicting emotions we feel, it is inevitable. Life goes on, and so should we.
