iPhone + DSLR: Best of Both Worlds

We all know that the iPhone 4 can easily brag about it’s many features, from the App Store to its speed. However, its limitation is its camera. Though it has a praisable 5 megapixels, a 5x zoom, and HDR (High Dynamic Range) capabilities, it still can’t quite compare to that of a DSLR (Digital Single Lens Reflex) camera. Well, that’s no longer the case, for the people over at Photojojo have developed an iPhone SLR Mount. You can get both Canon or Nikon SLR attachments for your phone thanks to Photojojo. You get a specially made case for your phone with a UV filter, with two tripod mounts for both horizontal and vertical pictures. In the middle there’s the adapter and finally at the end you have your lens! You can virtually use your iPhone as a completely functional DSLR! Yeah, taking pictures with your iPhone 4 has become extremely versatile, what more can you ask for?

Though it is technology at its affordable finest, it seems like it’d be a lot of maintenance; both regarding care and  storage. Unless you plan on taking pictures constantly with your iPhone, the case alone would be chunky and it’d look weird without the lens attachment! So it comes down to whether or not you’re a photo-junkie and an iPhone enthusiast, because if you’re both, then you’ve got the best of both worlds.

Hey there, I’m Bill Tran. My middle name is not Louis unfortunately but I do like BLTs. I’m a student at Western Canada High School. I’m not your average Asian, I’m actually a little bit taller. I enjoy laughing and making others laugh, I mean, who would complain about a free ab workout? I like seeing things in brighter perspectives, except for movies, those are always better in the dark. I’m made of what’s found in my family & friends, my music & art, my thoughts & my words.
