If you are bored or if you are looking for great books to read, try picking up the Lorien Legacies series. There are seven novels and fifteen novellas in total. The novellas give context to the events that happened in the seven novels. Pittacus, the author, combined 3 novellas in one book, so that gives twelve books in total.
There are three primary reasons why I believe this series is so awesome. Firstly, the action-packed sci-fi novels are very suspenseful and very hard to put down. I know this is very cliché to say, but there’s no better way to put it. After you read one page, you just feel like you have to keep going, and before you know it, you’ve already read for an hour.
Every page contributes to the plot or develops to character development, so you will never feel bored reading the books.
Also, you might think that it’s just another common alien invasion book after reading the synopsis, but trust me, the Lorien Legacies are different. Pittacus goes very in-depth about the backstory of every character. Additionally, the characters feel very human so readers feel connected and can relate to some of their problems.
I’d highly recommend this series to anyone, whether you’re an avid reader or if you don’t enjoy reading too much.
