I don’t think I’ve ever met anyone who hates cupcakes, especially Crave‘s cupcakes; who could?
Normally, I’m a die-hard lover of the Nutty Over Chocolate (a chocolate cupcake with peanut butter icing, yum!), but the other day I stumbled across a post on Crave’s website which made my heart sing; for the entire month of October Crave would be hosting probably one of the most exciting seasonal cupcakes I have ever heard of, the Pumpkin Spice Cupcake. Me, being me, HAD to try it. I mean, it’s like the seasonal Starbucks drink IN A CUPCAKE! What an amazing idea.
Overall, I like the pumpkin spice cupcake. As usual for Crave, I loved the icing. Especially since it was cream cheese, mmmhh. The cake itself was great too, I could definitely taste the pumpkin in it. However, I’d personally up the spices, you can never have to much cinnamon.
Now the final question: has the Pumpkin Spice Cupcake won over my love, and taken the Nutty Over Chocolate’s place as my favourite? I’d say no; the Nutty Over Chocolate will always be my favourite. What can I say? I’m a sucker for peanut butter.
Still, I’d suggest everyone and anyone to give this cupcake a try. It’s delicious, and so wonderfully festive! Besides, it’s a cupcake!
