2012 being the centennial year for many Calgarian organizations (such as the Stampede and the Public Library), the Canada Day Celebrations team from the City of Calgary has organized many family-friendly activities across the city for Canada’s birthday on July 1. Activities range from the Living Flag (a recreation of Canada’s red and white maple leaf with – yes – you!) to Calgary Eats! (a collection of food vendors) Come down for a day of fun!
