As Calgarians impatiently wait for the snow to clear up (permanently), the city can then officially welcome the start of festival season! This time of the year happily brings people from all quadrants to celebrate the lively culture Calgary has to offer. Having gone to a fair share of festivals myself, there is no doubt that those events could not have happened without the tremendous work of volunteers. Rain or shine, they are always willing to give a helping hand to all festival-goers. Although it is fun to experience the festival itself, being part of the behind-the-scenes stuff is just as rewarding!

Note: (**) means that there are information for that specific festival that has yet to be announced.
