Everyone feels down in the dumps once in a while. It’s normal, but that does not mean it doesn’t take determination or will power to keep moving forward. September, for most, marks the beginning of deadlines, oral presentations, heavy tests, and hours of studying. During these heavy loaded times, remember to always take time aside for you. Always remember to do something you love and take care of yourself. If you’re in a stressful situation whether it be academic or personal don’t be afraid to step outside that moment and just allow yourself to breathe. Talk to someone that is there for you to help you in moving past or solving those problems. If you don’t understand something in class ask someone who knows. Don’t be afraid to speak out and act to improve your life and make it at least a tad bit easier.
Motivation to keep going through tough times can come from a lot of things. It can come from encouraging words from your guardians, friends, or even that poster with that saying in that class that you stare at mindlessly for minutes. You might even get motivated by imagining yourself FINALLY reaching that goal that you are working so tirelessly for.
A lot of things get me to put pause on the cat videos to finish something on my to-do list. One of those things, are quotes. The following three quotes, are one’s that I find myself thinking of often. They’ve aided in shaping my views and made acceptance of what is and what can be, better.
Finding quotes that inspire you, printing them, and taping them in places you’ll see everyday, are a great way to keep you motivated. Find what works for you and go with it!
