Apples
We all know that “an apple a day keeps the doctor away,” but it could keep much more than that away, too. Apples are a source of antioxidants, which can help reverse the aging process and might extend your lifespan.
Oatmeal
Having a bowl of oatmeal to for breakfast is a great way to start your day, because it’s very high in fibre and slows digestion, giving you energy throughout the day. Oatmeal is also very high in vitamin B and potassium.
Avocados
Avocados have 35% more potassium than bananas and are also very high in vitamins B, K and E. They can boost your overall diet quality and might even help cure diabetes. There’s also so many delicious ways to prepare them!
Broccoli
Broccoli contains an enzyme that can reduce the risk of cancer and is very high in vitamin C. In fact, one serving contains approximately 150% of the daily recommended amount of vitamin C, which can reduce the length of the common cold and help prevent diseases like osteoarthritis. However, if cooked for too long, all these amazing benefits aren’t effective.
