10 Baking Recipes I Loved!

I love to bake! While I hold cakes and cookies close to my heart, I especially love trying a variety of recipes from a variety of cultures. In fact, it has been even more fun since my family got an electric mixer, and I don’t have to sweat 30 minutes over 1 meringue using the hand-mixer. Thus I present to you 10 baking recipes I particularly enjoyed making and, most importantly, eating!

1. Lemon Poppyseed Loaf: https://www.ricardocuisine.com/en/recipes/7866-lemon-poppy-seed-loaf

One of my favourites! I was even able to use poppyseeds right from my family’s garden.

2. Double Chocolate Biscotti: https://www.onceuponachef.com/recipes/double-chocolate-biscotti.html

Next up… Italian! Baked twice to be dry and crunchy; ideal for dunking in milk!

3. Spritz cookies: https://cookiesandcups.com/perfect-spritz-cookies/

Simple but classic!

4. Red Velvet Cake: https://www.livewellbakeoften.com/the-best-red-velvet-cake/

Another one of my favourites! The cake is so soft and moist and spongy.

5. Red Velvet Cookies: https://sallysbakingaddiction.com/red-velvet-chocolate-chip-cookies/

I didn’t even know this existed, but I love how soft they are compared to the normal butter-based cookie. Also perfect for dipping in milk.

6. Zimtsterne: https://www.daringgourmet.com/zimtsterne-german-cinnamon-star-cookies/

A traditional German holiday cookie! Not only tastes really good but also is very easy to make, doesn’t take a lot of time, and only takes simple and few ingredients.

7. Vanilla pastry cream fruit tarts: https://saladinajar.com/recipes/desserts/pies/fruit-and-cream-mini-tarts/

I love fruit too!

8. Funfetti Cake: https://sallysbakingaddiction.com/easy-homemade-funfetti-cake/

Sprinkles!

9. Lemon muffins: https://www.marthastewart.com/1117166/lemon-muffins

Simple but still delicious.

10. 2-Ingredient Chocolate Cake: https://tasty.co/recipe/2-ingredient-chocolate-cake

Finally, when you don’t have any ingredients but still want to eat cake…
