This past weekend, lying in the shadow of this year’s extremely crazy Comic Con, was the Calgary Festival of Arts and Crafts. From Friday to Sunday, there were hundreds of vendors selling home-made handcrafted goods like bags, clothing, food, candy, art, soap, metal work, and jewellery. You name it,it was probably there. This festival gave artists and craftsmen the opportunity to showcase and sell their goods while giving customers a one-stop shopping trip. I found the large assortment of booths impressive, the goods both original and high quality, and the prices very fair.
