If you haven’t heard of We Day before, then you are missing out on some fun. We Day is an education movement for youth around the world to make a difference: lead global change. We Day is run by Free the Children and Me to We as part of We Act, which is a forum and resource centre for schools to tackle local and global issues. Since 2007, We Day has inspired hundreds of thousands of youth to believe that they are they agents of change for our world.

We Day Alberta 2013 is going to be held on October 24 at the Scotiabank Saddledome in Calgary. In 2012, over 18 000 participated in We Day Alberta and this year is set to me no different. The 2013 speaker and performance lineup hasn’t been released yet, but the 2012 lineup included lights, Larry King, Hedley and Free the Children Co-founders, Marc and Craig Keilburger.
