Food Truck Review: Holy Crepe

Last Friday night (cue Katy Perry’s song), I had an awesome time exploring 12 Ave and 2 St; there were tons of food trucks lined up, and I decided to try the Holy Crepe food truck. Among 20-some other food trucks, this 4-month old truck has a sweet twist on the thin pancake. Tasting Chef Robin’s delicious crepes and talking to owner Randy was definitely an exciting opportunity.

With most of the menu planned by Randy’s wife (except for the Holy Smoke, which is a Montreal-inspired dish), the truck comes up with a unique crepe flavor available for a week or two. Such dishes include the Chili crepe and the Mexican crepe–although not fitting with the “holy” theme, they are definitely something you should try! With dishes like The Original Sin (a breakfast crepe), The Greek God, The Eden (Randy’s favorite as it’s loaded with veggies and tzatziki!) and the Sweet Baby Jesus (a crepe filled with fruit of your choice), how can you not resist their crepes?! Plus, when it’s available and affordable, the team tries to use organic fruit and vegetables! How great is that?

So click below to see a short video review and hear what Randy has to say about his wonderful business!
