1) Chelsea Hotel, The Songs of Leonard Cohen
What: Check into New York’s infamous hotel and be transported to a place full of music, mystery and desire. With extraordinary new arrangement, six performers play seventeen instruments in a rollicking tribute to Leonard Cohen’s most transcendent songs and lyrics. You’ll be transfixed by this eclectic cabaret of loves lost and won.

2) Banff Film Fest World Tour
What: The Banff Mountain Film Festival World Tour brings Banff to audiences around the globe. Immediately after the festival ends in November, a selection of the best films go on tour across Canada, the United States, and internationally from Scotland to South Africa to China, Lebanon, Chile, New Zealand, Antarctica, and points in between. Each year, the films travel to 40 countries reaching more than 390,000 people at over 840 screenings.

3) 29th Annual High Performance Rodeo
What: The High Performance Rodeo is Calgary’s International Festival of the Arts. Encompassing theatre, music, dance, comedy and interdisciplinary art, the High Performance Rodeo is the largest event of its kind in western Canada.

4) Skating At Olympic Plaza
What: Every winter the city of Calgary transforms Olympic Plaza into a winter wonderland. Pull out your skates and come down with your friends and family for a great time of skating and laughs!

5) West Side Story
What: The world’s greatest love story takes to the streets in this landmark Broadway musical that is one of the theatre’s finest accomplishments.Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet is transported to modern-day New York City, as two young idealistic lovers find themselves caught between warring street gangs, the American Jets and the Puerto Rican Sharks. Their struggle to survive in a world of hate, violence and prejudice is one of the most innovative, heart-wrenching and relevant musical dramas of our time.
