The Calgary Stampede officially starts today, and kicking off the festivities is the parade of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, followed by the Calgary Stampede parade, led by the “Man in Motion” Rick Hansen. I’m pretty stoked about Stampede, as it is always a blast (money spent notwithstanding). However, I know that a lot of people in the city need a little push to start gearing up for the Greatest Outdoor Show on Earth, so the Stampede decided to have a bit of fun on Stephen Avenue in late June, which is the topic of today’s Video of the Day.
