Youth Are Awesome, commonly referred to as YAA, is a blog written by youth for youth. YAA provides the youth of Calgary a place to amplify their voices and perspectives on what is happening around them. Youth Are Awesome is a program of Youth Central.

This was released eight years ago, and I consider it to be a YouTube video classic. It still manages to tug on my heartstrings when I see it, and the message it sends to me it great. The mix of melancholy music and cute animation just adds to it, and that’s why this video is still a favorite of mine to this day. Enjoy!
