4. Grimm
Grimm is a horror/action/mystery TV show that follows Nick Burkhardt, a Portland detective who lives a very “different” life. As a Grimm, he is able to see creatures that many cannot see. Many people in Portland are vesen, meaning that they are able to turn into different creatures. Nick, alongside his fellow detectives work to kill and protect the city from the bad vesen. I personally enjoy this TV show because unlike others, it has a unique storyline, characters, and an intense plot.
3. Deathnote
Deathnote is an anime that follows Light Yagami, a brilliant highschool student that discovers a notebook with amazing power. By simply writing anyones name in this notebook, they will die. Deathnote was definitely one of the most amazing TV series I’ve seen. I’m not a very big fan of anime, but some of my friends had recommended this show to me and convinced me to watch it. Light, along with the two main antagonists, L & N, are all intelligent individuals. Light’s intention is to kill everyone who causes harm to society, or is a criminal. Although he believes he is doing good for society, many disagree. Since nobody knows who this anonymous killer is, they name him “Kira.” Throughout the series, both L and N try to figure out who “Kira” really is. This show is full of mystery, intensity, plot twists, and action, which is why I would highly recommend it to anyone, especially anime fans.
2. Arrow
Arrow is an action/thriller TV show that follows the life of Oliver Queen, a man who acquires incredible abilities while stranded on an island for five years. While stranded on the island, he becomes stronger, learns how to fight, and becomes a master archer. He eventually makes it back to his home town, Starling City, where he fights to protect his citizens and family. I highly recommend Arrow to anyone, no matter how old you are. Each episode is filled with action, mystery, and intensity, and trust me, you wont be disappointed. The show contains dozens of plot twists, which makes it even more exciting. Its kind of like watching a movie on a weekly basis.
1. Suits
And now for our number one spot, Suits. It was difficult choosing between Suits and Arrow, but Suits is just a little bit better in my opinion. This law/drama series follows the lives of Mike Ross and Harvey Specter, two brilliant lawyers, or should I say, lawyer. You see, the law firm that Harvey works for, Pearson Hardman, are conducting interviews when Mike Ross finds his way into the line up by accident from a drug deal gone bad. Harvey interviews him, only to discover that Mike has never attended and law school in his life and has no law degree whatsoever. However, he had studied the law for years, and knew everything there was to know about it. He decides to hire Mike, and the two work together and give their clients the best service possible. This show is one of the highest rated on both Tv.com and IMDb. It has received positive reviews from many, and I would highly recommend watching this show.
