Spending time with friends is a great way to pass time. No matter where you live, there are many places to go and fun things to do. If you live in the City Of Calgary there are also fun and educational options to explore and enjoy with friends. You just have to know where to look! Here is a list of activities that I will be exploring with my friends over the next few months:

Hexagon Board Game Cafe
The Hexagon is a cafe that serves coffee, tea & baked goods and offers a variety of both card & board games. When you first walk into the building, you are awaited by a mini cafe, on the left are tables but also featured games that can be purchased and on the right more tables. At the back of the building, are bookcases and shelves filled with board and card games. Therefore, this is a great alternative if you enjoy board games and food. Click HERE to learn more.

The Rec Room
The Rec Room is a very entertaining place to visit because it consists of restaurants, pool tables, a climbing wall & mainly, video games. Southland Leisure Centre
The Southland Leisure Centre is an establishment that has many indoor activities. There is a waterpark, ice rinks, climbing wall, multipurpose & birthday rooms, dance classes, day camps, martial arts classes, playschool, yoga, pilates and wellness. As a frequent visitor, I can surely tell you that Southland is an amazing place to go. Hide N Seek
Hide N Seek is an indoor playground and cafe. It is actually Calgary’s largest indoor playground! It contains a kid structure, toddler zone, game arcade/redemption, cafeteria, lounge and birthday rooms. It’s main audience is children 7 and under, but people of all ages go there. It is a very enjoyable place if you are looking for something active, and fun. HERE to learn more.

Calaway Park
Calaway Park is Western Canada’s largest outdoor family amusement park. It is actually one of the most exciting Calgary attractions. Calaway is a seasonal amusement park featuring 30+ rides, stage shows, variety of foods, a 3D theatre, gift shop and carnival games. You must be at least 48″ to ride alone if you are under 48″ you must ride with an adult. Calaway is a very enjoyable place as it is for all age groups and has very thrilling rides. CrossIron Mills
CrossIron Mills is a fully enclosed shopping centre just outside of Calgary, Alberta. This is an amazing place to visit if you like shopping. It has a wide variety of stores and kiosks, making it the best place to shop. It is also a fun place to go with friends, if you just want to hang out and have a good time. https://www.crossironmills.com/en/
