It is contagious, difficult to control, may bring out a tear or two, may hurt your stomach after awhile, and you can get it anywhere and anytime.  What is it??

Laughter!

We’ve let you know how beneficial laughter is for you before, and today we’ll let you in on even more benefits!

You know the old saying ‘laughter is the best medicine’?  Well that is very true!  In fact, laughter therapy can be used to help cure hypertension, ulcers, arthritis, stroke, diabetes and even heart diseases!!

Plus, did you know that laughter attracts people to you, strengthens relationships and encourages teamwork?

A study courtesy from Professor William Fry of psychiatry at Stanford University Medical School, kindergarteners  laugh an average of 300 times a day while adults an average of just 17 laughs a day.

Even in the most difficult of times, a laugh or a simple smile can go a long way to brighten up your or someone else’s day.  Plus it does not cost you a penny nor does it produce any garbage for the environment.  A win-win-win situation!

Quick fun fact, if you laugh 100 times it’s the equivalent to cycling 15 minutes on the bike! Wow those kindergarteners must be very fit!

So have a few laughs and spread the laughter ! 🙂
