Inspired by Suzie’s post, I’ve decided to share some of my shots of Cowtown in all its (short-lived) green glory. I think the shortness of Calgary’s springs & summers is the very thing that makes them so precious – so take out your camera and go outside!
I took this photo at Queen Elizabeth Garden in BC over spring break. It may not seem like it now (it’s snowing – again?!), but spring’s coming to Calgary too… sooner or later =P
The focal plane in this picture (the “slice” that is in focus) is only about a millimeter thick, and the sharpest focus was only about half of that.
I find this one funny, because when I import my photos with Lightroom, it asks me what the name of the photoshoot was. Since I only took a few pictures for this, I didn’t bother naming it. Lightroom then just named the picture “untitled shoot-3343.jpg”. Get it? It’s a potato shoot! 😀 Click to zoom…
