As we near Halloween, avid spooksters will need to check out one of the biggest halloween parties in Calgary: Screamfest 2013. The annual event takes place on during the night on the weekends leading up to Oct 31, and is filled with spooky entertainment, contests and most importantly, haunted houses.
Screamfest will be open from 7 p.m. to midnight on October 4, 5, 11, 12, 18, 19, 25, 26, 27, & 31. General Admission starts at $21 for advance online tickets. The 2013 event will be held at Stampede Park, inside and around the Grandstand Building.
Be warned that this event is not for meant for the faint-hearted. Although they will admit anyone, the event is rate PG13, as there will be lots of fog, strobe lights, and loud music. More importantly, remember that everything there is fake no matter how real it seems. They all serve one purpose and one purpose only: to scare you!
