Okay guys, let’s talk about the elephant in the room; September ( aka the beginning of school). To some, it is a wondrous month filled with new beginnings and friends, but for others, it’s the most dreaded time of year. Even after going to school for what seems like countless years, this time can unnerve the best of us. Some way or another, we all need tips to get over the nervousness of the new school year!

One of the most crucial aspects of school life is all the clubs and extracurricular activities offered to us like band, sports, volunteering, etc. To start the year off on a positive note, try going for a new activity you’ve never tried and stick to it, you never know when woodworking or auto might come in handy!

2. TAKE NOTES!

I cannot stress this enough, taking notes is the difference between late night cramming and getting a full night’s sleep before an exam. The most important part of this is to be consistent and remember to this throughout the semester.

3. Relax!

This one may seem a bit odd, especially when you’re in some of your most important academic years, and taking time away to peruse a hobby and have fun is a necessity to keep from ripping your hair out. Trust me.

Hopefully, these tips will save you from restless nights before school starts!
