People of all ages will likely be exposed to partying at some point in their life. It’s a great way to have a good time, create new experiences and meet new people. Although each party you attend will be different, they usually fall into similar categories. Honestly, I feel like parties have lowkey gotten a little lame…we’ve lost our creativity. I think that having a theme to your party or some sort of activity can make it 101001x better.

Pool Party
Pool parties are honestly the most hype kind of parties. It will NEVER, EVER be boring. If you don’t have a pool in your backyard or know someone with a pool, then this probably isn’t for you.. but public pools always exist. If you’re open to that.

Themed Party
Themed parties are not limited to kids. There’s so many different themes that are ‘mature’ or not seen as juvenile. Some trendy, cute ideas are: murder mystery party, costume party, 80s, tv shows/movies, masquerade, the great gatsby and glow in the dark.

Barbeque
Most people can bond over their love for food. One thing I love about a barbeque, is that you can smell it from miles away (even if it’s not yours). It takes so much self-restraint to not jump into my neighbour’s yard and help myself. I think that a barbeque would be great for close friends, or maybe acquaintances. Personally, I wouldn’t invite “strangers” because I see a barbeque as something that’s more intimate and shared with people that are close to you.

Slumber Party
For me, sleepovers have always been a great way to quickly bond with people. I’ve been to sleepovers where I knew them for at most 2 weeks, and we became great friends. Of course, if you barely know the person there are precautions you need to take in order to remain safe. This is just MY personal experience.

Costume Party
Costume parties are exhilarating and are so fun to get ready for. Idk, it’s just a great way to bond with people because there are so many conversation starters and ways to bond.

Dinner Party
(P.S): a good party = LOTS of food/snacks.
