A Dutch artists duo, Lernert and Sander, created this video with a goal “to apply 365 layers of makeup in one day to see how much is needed to go from a natural look to an outrageous one,” and to show that the common myth of ‘Make-Up is beautiful’ isn’t necessarily true.
This model in the video, Hannelore Knuts, was applied with 365 layers of make-up in one day. The whole shoot took nine hours, and throughout the whole shooting Hannelore could only eat through a straw.
At the end of the project, they used up:
- 7 bottles of foundation
- 2 bottles of eye cream
- 3 lip pens
- 2 bottles of blush
