Recently, I have noticed that a bit of pessimism has been festering around me. I’m a fairly idealistic person, and as such, I want to see a utopian society of sorts. That being said, it sometimes disheartens me to see people act in a manner that is less than commendable.
I’ve been thinking recently, however, and I’ve realized that the real world isn’t the best place for idealism – people aren’t perfect, and consequently, our actions will not be perfect. It is simply too great an expectation to hold the world accountable to.
On the flip side, there is a lot of good in the world; a lot of love; and a lot of kindness. I’ve realized that it’s better to focus on the bright side of things. Furthermore, as the next video – and hopefully reality – shows, doing the right thing can go a long way, especially when we do it naturally. Hope you enjoy! =)
