#JeSuisCharlie: Cartoonists in Tribute

On January 7th, 2015, the office of one of Paris’s more satirical weekly newspapers, Charlie Hebdo,  was intruded by two masked gunmen. They invaded the office and had killed 12 people. An additional 11 people were wounded in the process. The grim news has alarmed people from all around the world and in tribute to those who were killed and to the Paris based newspaper,  #JeSuisCharlie (I am Charlie) started trending. Cartoonists around the world, however, have take up a different approach to the attacks. The newspaper’s cover always featured some kind of a cartoon, so cartoonists around the world have drawn up pictures dedicated to Charlie.
