In my quest for the ultimate Vietnamese cuisine, I recently visited Thai Tai.

The service at Thai Tai was fairly good. The waiter came by several times to check how we were doing. When ordering, I was able to get a few changes to the food I ordered. Overall service at Thai Tai is fast-paced, efficient and friendly.

The menu is quite large and contains a variety of things. From Pho to salad rolls and even bubble tea. The menu is not set in stone as the waiters will likely let you substitute some things. In short the menu and food is accommodating to anyone.

I ordered shrimp spring rolls as  an appetizer. It was quite good and flavourful, served with a great sauce. I definitely recommend the spring rolls. My main meal was not as great; I ordered a stir-fry. It had a very bland flavor with very little sauce and dry noodles. All included the food was average and I would not recommend ordering a stir-fry.

Overall, is Thai Tai the ultimate Vietnamese restaurant? Nope, but it’s pretty tasty and has great potential.
