After all these months of waiting, it’s finally here, the iPhone 5! Well, sort of, anyway. Apple has officially announced that the October 4 iPhone Media Event will be held at their headquarters in Cupertino, California. This means finally after all these months, we’ll finally see if the iPhone 5 will live up to all the hype it’s generated. Some rumors that have been circulating the web claim the new iPhone will have a new 4″ touch screen, an improvement over the current 3.5″ screens that are used. The phone itself is also believed to be smaller and thinner, kind of like the current iPod Touch, and it will sport the dual-core A5 processor chip currently found in the iPad 2, and might possibly have 1GB of RAM on-board. If rumors are true, this is pretty much a portable laptop inside your phone which is amazing. With the release soon to be announced, better mark your calendars, because I am expecting to see a lot of you camping outside the Apple stores the night before the release (I’m kidding, sort of).
