Don’t know who or what Owl City is?

Well it is basically a ‘one-man’ band that was formed in 2007 by a young man named Adam Young. This electronic, new wave pop sensation began in Adams parents’ basement in Owatonna, Minnesota.

Owl City first got exposure through good old ‘myspace’ and soon became so popular it reached ‘Top Unsigned Artist’ with over 10 million plays in total!

Before Adam Long was signed with a label, Owl City released two albums. An EP titled Of June in 2007, which was #20 on the Billboard Electronic Albums and Maybe I’m Dreaming released in 2008 which was #16.

The most recent album Ocean Eyes released this summer under Universal Republic Records reached  #2 on the Top Albums section of iTunes in just 2 weeks being released!

With a 2009 tour of Asia, a sold out 2009 North American tour and a 2010 tour with Lights and Deas Vail; Owl City is the next big thing!
