Anna Paquin was the victor of the Best Supporting Actress in her contributions to the film The Piano.

Jodi Foster is a prime example of the success of trying, trying, and trying again. Although she did not win her first time as an Oscar nominee at the age of 14 for her role in Taxi Driver, she continued to reign in substantive meaningful roles. Foster went to win several Oscars in the Best Actress category for The Accused, Silence of the Lambs, and Nell.
