Personally, I found Graduation to be a little expensive (which is why my friends and I had a delicious dinner at Bolero instead of a $70 banquet), especially for girls. I know dressing up is super important, paying for make-up, the dress and flowers/decorations. So to help you save some money, your local library has decided to host a great event!

On March 3 at Bowness Library and March 10 at Village Square Library, you can find yourself a snazzy dress that was donated. Dresses are lined against the walls of the library and girls are able to try and take them home completely free! Register here for your spot to get a dress this year!

They also have two designers present who will give the girls tips on how to remake or update their dresses, or even just how to tailor them. Their designers are super awesome, super talented and super stylish!

Last year I went to this event at the Village Square Library and I saw some friends in really pretty dresses! Since I’m a really tiny girl, finding a nice dress was difficult but it was still a fun day. I warn you: when your number is called up, grab as many dresses as you can because they disappear quickly! Don’t try them on until after you’ve found semi-decent dresses because girls can be aggressive about picking them!

Also, since there weren’t a lot of attendees, girls were allowed to take two dresses home! So if you’re free on March 3 or 10, then register for this event and enjoy your dresses, ladies!
