Choosing where to go for university can be stressful. I know that it was for me. The last couple of weeks have been mostly accompanied by stress and mixed emotions. For me it almost felt like I could see myself at more than just one university, each school had its pros and cons and this made it incredibly difficult for me to decide where I wanted to go. One day I wanted to go to this school, the next day I wanted to go to another. Ultimately I realized one thing, wherever you go there really is no wrong choice. For many of us, this time in our lives may seem stressful as we feel like we have so much unknown ahead of us. But this is not necessarily the case. Our entire life is variable and it’s difficult to predict what the future holds, so ultimately take each day step by step and everything will fall into place. I found this quote by Esmeralda Santiago interesting and well put: “How can you know what you’re capable of if you don’t embrace the unknown?” With those words in mind just remember that if the future seems scary, don’t shy away from it, embrace it and the rest will follow 🙂
