I am a lover of old, vintage and just plain weird things. However that doesn’t really strike interest in too many teens.
Record Players: I got a record player for my 13th birthday, and I love it! It’s super cool and sounds way better than mp3 downloads or on ipods. My indie heart juts can’t resist.
Ukuleles: So much easier to carry around than a guitar. Plus it sounds like Hawaii, if Hawaii had a sound.
3DS: Why yes I do have a 3DS and yes it is awesome thank you very much.
The Lumineers: Technically they are a band not a thing but still. Folk music is awesome and they are just so talented!
Polaroid Instant Film Cameras: Mine is being shipped in the mail as we speak and I can’t wait to use it!
Grumpy Cat memes: Yes the cat is still very popular but a lot of my friends hate grumpy cat, which doesn’t make any sense whatsoever, because Tartar Sauce the cat aka grumpy cat is amazing!
Go Ukuleles!!!! I taught myself how to play one last year and now I love, love, LOVE playing it! Such a soothing sound 🙂
