As a camp leader, i sometimes find crafts can be frustrating with extensive planning, preparation, instructions and clean-up. When I was digging in the camp shed one day trying to design a craft for my campers, i found some tiny little blocks of clay that looks like this….

This is the most creative and simple craft appropreate for any age group. With the simple instruction- use small amounts of clay and make anything you like- being said, kids made all sorts of amzing cute figures, such as Pokemon characters, ninja stars, cupcakes, etc. Afterwards, a quick five minutes bake at 150°C will harden the clay which becomes more durable.

If you think baking is a lot of work and energy, then air-dry clay would be just as perfect.

If the children are young, edible play-doh would be  definitely a better choice.

I made some of my favourite california sushi rolls, salmon sushi and two ogre styled crossants.
