Best Apple Cinnamon Roll Recipe

Cinnamon Rolls are everyone’s favourite! I really love baking and found this awesome easy to make recipe for cinnamon rolls using apples. Now instead of heading out to the store, you can easily make your own cinnamon rolls, save a ton of money and have them whenever you want! Enjoy!

Here’s the recipe:

Ingredients

Dough Ingredients

  1. A cup of milk
  2. A quarter cup of butter
  3. Three and a half cups of all purpose flour
  4. One quarter cup of granulated sugar
  5. Half teaspoon of salt
  6. Two and a half teaspoons of ‘rapid rise’ yeast
  7. One egg

Ingredients for Filling

  1. One third cup of granulated sugar
  2. One third cup of packed brown sugar
  3. Two tablespoons of ground cinnamon
  4. Six tablespoons of softened butter
  5. One Finely Chopped Apple
  6. A half cup of caramel sauce

Preparation

  • Combine the milk and butter in a bowl, heat until the butter is melted and then stir.

  • Using a stand mixer; combine three cups of flour, yeast, sugar, egg and milk. Beat until well combined.

  • Add the remaining flour in intervals and beat with every addition. When a ball is formed, the flour is enough, beat for five more minutes. Then cover the dough with a paper towel for ten minutes.kitchenaid-professional-6500-design-series-stand-mixer-1
  • Whisk the sugar and cinnamon together.

  • Roll the dough out, spread the butter all over it and sprinkle the cinnamon and sugar all over it.

  • Sprinkle the finely chopped apples and half a cup of caramel sauce over it.

  • Roll the dough and cut into about 11 pieces.

  • Place on a greased plate, cover it with a damp towel and then place in a warm place to rise for 25 minutes.

  • Uncover the rolls. Place in the centre rack of the oven and bake for fifteen to twenty minutes on 350F until they are golden and cooked through.
