For those of you who aren’t in University, this is still applicable to you! CampusPerks aims to fuel student life on campuses across Canada (yay!). They create challenges to help students unlock rewards (or get funding), which in turn gives them kudos that allow them to donate to and support student-led projects of their choice. Kudos are the CampusPerks currency where you can donate them to student-led projects. At the end of the week, CampusPerks sponsors the projects with the most kudos, helping students achieve their goals! Rewards may include smart phones, gift cards, internships or exclusive sponsorships and the only thing you might need to do is share, tweet, create photos and videos or host sponsored events.

CampusPerks encourage student life on campus; they want students to create projects from conferences to society events, intramurals, social events, movements or anything that contributes to the campus. CampusPerks picks and interviews students whose projects are making an impact on campus and would benefit from more funding, recognition and community support in order to grow and improve campus life.

At the moment, there are two challenges which I encourage you to participate in (whether to enter in or vote for). The first is a Virgin Mobile On The House Challenge, where the winners will receiveĀ National exposure, plus a chance to participate in the largest, most awesome, cross-Canada race for a chance to win $10,000 in cash, prizes and Samsung Galaxy S IIā„¢ 4G smartphones! The top team on each campus will receive smartphones, which is a pretty sweet reward!

Another challenge is a Lead The Blackberry Messengers one where winners get a new BlackBerry smartphone, cash, and tons of giveaways for their campus! There is a lot more detail to this, but I highly suggest to create an account and vote your heart out! Support clubs and the University of Calgary; you never know, perhaps your idea could be a winner as well!
