The Calgary Zoo celebrated the new arrival of the new Eurasia animals and newly re-named Eurasian Gateway building from June 27-29.
As a volunteer at the event, I enjoyed it a lot. There were many activities are going on such as free photo booth which I helped at, face painting, bouncy house, crafts and the beautiful live Enmax conservatory .
The new rhino is 10 years old. We will hopefully get a female rhino in 2015. The female komodo dragon is 28 years old and we have four upcoming six months old baby komodo dragon in the summer.
The zoo is now recovering from the flood. It is nice to visit the zoo with your friends, family or some one special. Enjoy the nice day, check the animals around the zoo and take some nice pictures.
